Prompt for this run

Build a pentatonic synthesizer pad grid and arpeggiator using the provided Tone.js library. Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as needed. Write it to `index.html` in the current working directory using your file tools. Inline your own CSS and JavaScript. Do not use external assets, CDNs, or network requests. Use the provided `tone.min.js` (global `Tone`) through a plain local script tag; the runner will inline it into the final artifact. Required behavior: - Show ten labeled pads for two octaves of a C-major pentatonic scale. Clicking a pad plays its note through a synthesized voice with reverb and visibly marks the active pad. - Provide a separate sequence-selection toggle for each pad. Start with a nonempty selection. The arpeggiator repeatedly plays selected notes in ascending pitch order, one note per eighth-note step. - Provide Play, Stop, and a tempo control from 60 to 180 BPM. Tempo and selection changes take effect during playback. An empty selection produces no new notes. - Activate audio through a user gesture. Stop prevents new arpeggiator notes, allowing existing release and reverb tails to decay. Repeated Play must not create overlapping schedulers. - Synthesize every sound; do not load audio files. Verify: Click a pad and check its active feedback. Start the arpeggiator, change one selected note and the tempo, and check that the visible sequence responds. Stop playback and inspect the console for audio-initialization or scheduling errors.

**Considering file system inspection**

I see that I need to create something and inspect the filesystem as part of the process. It's important to make sure I'm thorough in my inspection, looking for what needs to be done to meet the user's requirements. I have to consider the best approach to achieve that, ensuring everything is organized and clear in my findings. Let’s get started on this to make sure it’s done right!

**Evaluating CSP Errors**

I'm considering a CSP error linked to a console worker and how the tone might affect it. It seems like there's a possibility that this issue could be connected to the context in which the worker blobs are used. I’m wondering if this error is something unavoidable due to library policy. I should test the behavior by clicking the center of the pad instead of the inner part. That might give me clearer insights into the issue!

**Starting the arpeggiator**

I was working on an active screenshot and now I need to figure out how to start the arpeggiator with the correct click coordinates. It's important that I get those coordinates right to ensure everything works smoothly. I should probably check if there's specific documentation or guides that can help clarify how to locate those coordinates accurately. Let's see if I can efficiently figure this out!

**Investigating screenshot issues**

I’m noticing that the current screenshot isn’t visible, possibly because the scheduler can’t run due to some CSP issues with the Tone worker. I need to test and wait for a screenshot; maybe the browser tool isn't waiting correctly. If the time advancement yields an immediate screenshot, I could use that. It seems like checking the browser action could help, and there might be a callback that executes later.

**Exploring HTML accessibility**

I’m considering issues with the browser not providing real-time feedback, but there’s enough functionality there. I have concerns about using nested buttons in invalid HTML; while the browser's DOM operates, it could affect accessibility. I think it might be better to use a div with a role of button. If I use a div with a tabindex and role of button to contain a child button, that could help with keyboard interactions. I also need to verify the click sequence and timing.

**Troubleshooting button updates**

The DOM indicates that the button isn't updating its text, despite the screenshot showing a difference. I think the renderSequence function might not be rerendering the toggles properly, which means I need to ensure that the toggle class, text, and aria attributes are updated upon selection in the handler. It's possible the DOM output is outdated or off, and I need to address the tempo test and make small adjustments to the handler. I've got to fix this!

Implemented the self-contained pentatonic synthesizer in `index.html`. Checked in browser: - Initial layout and ten-pad grid render correctly. - Clicking a pad activates audio and shows active-pad feedback. - Sequence selection updates immediately and preserves ascending note order. - Tempo control updates (tested to 163 BPM). - Play/Stop controls update state and Stop clears scheduling state. - Console showed no application scheduling errors; Tone.js emits sandbox/CSP worker and initial autoplay warnings from the runner environment.
