Glyphs are katakana + digits drawn procedurally. - Bright leading glyph (`#b8ffb8`, occasionally white) with a second dimmer glyph and a fading trail produced by a translucent black overlay each frame. - Columns recycle from the top after their head leaves the bottom (cumulative recycle counter grows). - Pause/Resume freezes/resumes the rAF loop; Restart clears the canvas to black and re-randomizes all columns. ## What I verified live (browser harness) Since this session's model can't receive image attachments, I added lightweight in-page diagnostics (canvas readback hash + pixel counts) and verified via console: - Load: no JS errors; viewport 1200×800, columns=67. - Moving: hash changed on every 500ms sample while running. - Recycling: logged cumulative recycles (25 → 50 → 75 → … → 150). - Pause: after clicking Pause, many consecutive samples had identical hashes (FROZEN); label switched to "Resume". - Resume: hashes kept changing again; label back to "Pause". - Restart (while paused): immediately logged `[rst] cleared; bright pixels in upper 40% = 0` → old trails fully gone; hash changed once then stayed frozen → columns reset, pause preserved. - JS syntax check passed via `node --check`. ## Not verified live - Actual rendered pixels visually (no image support this session) — motion/freeze/clearing were confirmed programmatically via canvas readback. - True window-resize behavior — the harness viewport is fixed at 1200×800, so a real resize event couldn't be triggered; the resize path is implemented (debounced re-layout to innerWidth/innerHeight).
